Stamp 4 non Irish employer

Post by Abcd » Mon Jul 19, 2021 9:33 am

Hi all,

I am getting a job offer from a company based in Europe that has no entity in Ireland. I will be working remotely for them. They say they are registered with Revenue in Ireland though and will be able to pay my taxes in Ireland. I wanted to know if this kind of employment allowed under stamp 4 conditions?

Thanks in Advance

Yes. It is allowed. If the company registered with Revenue in Ireland and the payroll is processed here, you can work for them. The company is still considered an Irish employer. You can check the company name in cro.ie and ensure their legal status here.

Hi balac_m,

Thanks for your response. I don't see the company name in cro.ie. Though they say they have been registered with Revenue. They have also given me the number with which they have registered. It is seven numbers followed by two letters.

Regards
